Roasted Beans Classification Service

Have you come across a batch of beans roasted by yourself and
so highly commended by everyone who's tried it, but you forgot
how you got it right back then?  As you know that coffee bean is
an agricultural product, Brazil Santos may not roast the same now
compared to past and future.  A lot of factors go into getting the
roast right, consistent and repeatable.  And with the different
roast styles, how do you know which roast style did you get,
especially at the beginning of your roasting journey?

QCRC is pleased to provide a roasting style classification service
for all home coffee roasters who want to know exactly what
roast style did he/she get from the batch of freshly roasted beans.
Using the SCAA Roast Color Classification System and an
industrial grade Colorimeter, the roast style is measured and
counter-checked before arriving at the roast style.  As the color
disks in the SCAA classification provides an indication of the roast
style using naked eyes comparison, the Colorimeter provides an
exact measurement of the roast degree.

Just mail in 20g or more sample of your roasted beans or grounds
to us with your particulars especially your email address, and we
will let you know what roast style is your roast, in SCAA Agtron
Color Tile number scheme and the corresponding Agtron number,
through email within a week.

For a limited period, we are offering this service free of charge to
everyone.  Please send your sample to below address:
