Here in The QARR Coffee, we do not just encourage everyone to roast their own coffee beans. We also want to help you in the whole
process of uncovering the wonders of the coffee beans, by providing an avenue for all coffee enthusiasts to exchange information on their
coffee making experience, from roasting, grinding, to brewing and pulling shots, as well as for us to share with you on some tips throughout
these chain of activities. With the focus on home coffee roasting, the QARR Coffee Roasting Club (QCRC) is formed.

Roasting coffee beans can be as fun as you would want it to be. Given the same batch of beans, you can produce totally different taste with
different roasting styles. Given practice, experience and exposure, you will soon find that your roasted beans can taste much better than the
some of the beans sold in coffee retail shops. What you gain from roasting is the freshest possible beans, much like the Japanese making the
best sushi right out of the catch minutes ago. As the roasted beans develop the flavor during degassing (which can take up to a week), pulling
a shot at this moment will definitely overwhelm your palate with a reddish-brown almost honey-thick crema. Even if it is a simple brew coffee,
you will be able to taste the delicate nuances of the coffee, that are usually perceived as marketing terms in the cafe menu.

As part of the QCRC family, we believe that we share the same passion and desire towards specialty coffee - that is to make that perfect

QCRC is pleased to offer the following information, services and activities:

Provide information on home coffee roasting
Provide a database of roasting profiles for different types/origins of coffee beans. All beans mentioned in the database can be
purchased from The QARR Shop. The database allows fellow home roasters to share their favorite roast profiles
Offer roasted bean classification service to facilitate better communication among roasters in terms of their roast styles
Conduct home roasting, brewing & tasting sessions
Preview to new green beans
